Job summary

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is seeking an Education Administration, Community Programs intern to support the Internships & Community Programs team in promoting programs for learners of all ages—from children to college students and teachers.

You will contribute to planning and implementing the Internship and Apprenticeship Program, assist with events, and help market Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods and related programs.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduates or graduates, or be recent graduates up to 2 years out of school.
• Candidates may be career-changers currently in a degree program and international students (J-1 or F-1 visa) eligible.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential for interacting with learners, teachers, and partners.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and organizational skills are required for program scheduling and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the Internship and Apprenticeship Program, Grants for Performing Arts Teachers, Field Trips, and Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods.
• Coordinate and execute events for the Internship and Apprenticeship Program.
• Support marketing and promotion of Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods and related programs.
• Research prospective artists for future seasons of Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods.
