Job summary

Smithbucklin and its offices in Chicago or Washington DC seek an Education and Learning Services Associate to support education programs for multiple clients. You will help run webinars, online courses, podcasts, live recordings at conferences, and coordinate with speakers and association members to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong writing and oral communication, detail orientation, and the ability to travel 15–20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• 0-2 years of experience; internships; part-time jobs, campus leadership and volunteer work all count.
• Experience in education, events and nonprofit work is a plus.
• Experience organizing and setting up meetings (conference calls, online, in person) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-client environment and assist with the education aspects of program planning for 3-5 clients.
• Help run webinars, online courses, podcasts and live recordings at conferences, using web-conferencing, eLearning and recording tools (training provided)
• Coordinate with speakers, volunteers and association members by answering questions, sharing deadlines and keeping projects on track
• Support conference education, including speaking travel and logistics
• Assist with certification programs, including applications and communication with testing vendors
• Draft content for client newsletters and emails, prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes
• Gather and summarize session evaluations
• Process speaker honoraria and expense reimbursements
