Job description

The Education Program Manager role for the Labcorp School of Medical Laboratory Science manages program operations to ensure compliance, quality, and student success in alignment with institutional and accreditation standards, with oversight from the program director and program dean. The role involves coordinating faculty, clinical partners, and leadership, while supporting students through guidance and mentorship.

A successful incumbent will partner with the Program Director, HR Business Partners, Certification Agencies, and Early Talent and Talent Acquisition teams to understand talent needs and develop tailored program elements to address specific business needs. The incumbent will also identify opportunities to recruit diverse candidates from internal and external talent pools.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $140,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: The position is eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan, payable based on corporate and/or segment performance and individual performance modifiers.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a remote position with some travel required for recruitment, site visits, accreditation, and student engagement activities.

Benefits: Employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement policies and procedures per NAACLS Standards
  • Coordinate instructors and clinical rotations with internal and external partners
  • Maintain affiliation agreements and foster relationships with external stakeholders
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and maintain academic records
  • Collaborate on student progress, behavioral concerns, and support through advising
  • Participate in recruitment, curriculum evaluation, and faculty training
  • Update student handbook and ensure compliance with legal and HR requirements
  • Serve as faculty as needed and stay informed on Labcorp and LSMLS policies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science or life sciences with certification; Master’s preferred
  • At least 1 year teaching experience in higher education or adult learning
  • Minimum 3 years related laboratory science experience
  • Flexible working hours with 10-20% travel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Preferred experience with university relations, faculty, lab preceptors, and NAACLS accreditation
