As part of the HRIS team, the HRIS System Administrator acts as the subject matter expert for the Workday Human Capital Management application and UKG Pro Workforce Management suite of products as well as complementary HRIS technologies within the organization. Under minimal supervision, the HRIS System Administrator maintains, researches, analyzes, configures, and reports on HRIS Business Applications as well as implements updates, fixes, and new products as they become available. The HRIS System Administrator acts as a trusted partner across departments to address day-to-day support needs as well as collaborating and leading projects to support the HR Center for Workforce Excellence.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Human Resources, Business, Computer Science)
- Five (5) years’ experience as a system administrator for Workday HCM products
- Three (3) years’ experience as a system administrator for UKG Pro WFM products
- Required to pass Workday HCM Pro Certification exam within 6 months of hire
- Three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated expert ability to design and configure solutions in Workday and UKG as well as provide maintenance, security administration, and business process optimizations
- Expert proficiency in condition rules and calculated fields
- Demonstrated ability to lead and cross-collaborate with departments for optimal project outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM or UKG Pro Workforce Management in a healthcare setting
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
- SHRM Certification
- PMP Certification
- Workday Prism experience
- Experience with data entry and troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft 365 including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Workday Payroll, Supply Chain, or Finance modules from a functional area or technical
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of HRIS applications, which may include implementations, design, maintenance of computer systems and modules
- Recommends process improvements, solutions, and enhancements
- Serves as a liaison to payroll
- Analyzes data for trends
- Configurates new frameworks, business process and other workflows or program custom functions, and documents automated queries
- Provides technical support by troubleshooting, conducting research, and provide solutions to issues from SME groups
- Prepares, reviews, tests, and implements application releases for Workday and UKG
- Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down complex topics for target audiences.
- Part of rapid response team for Workday and UKG down time or system related issue
- Uses project management skills and change management in leading projects and user adoption
- Develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
- Train staff in new functionality
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
- Serves as representative and liaison between HR, Information Technology, Finance, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design, implementation projects and solving issue
- Provides coverage for other team members as needed
- Maintains and configurates annual HR processes (i.e., performance management, open enrollment, annual merit increases, pay for performance)
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Maintains active participation in ERP Committee by assisting with meeting lead coverage, agenda setup and minutes
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
- Provide excellent customer service to all customer areas served with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed team-based environment
- Possess ability to troubleshoot and provide support; high technical aptitude with the ability to grasp technical concepts and details
- Demonstrate high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality

- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional irregular work hours (to meet the needs of SJRMC)
- Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
- Occasional: lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to: talk (ordinary and conversations), hear (ordinary and conversations), and see (acuity: near and far, depth perception, and color vision)
