Job summary

The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System is seeking an Education Program Manager in its Strategy Division to expand the education strategy for IPERS members across Iowa at all stages of the retirement journey.

The right candidate will be an ambitious, creative thinker with strengths in event planning, project management, public speaking, collaboration, budgeting and contract management, able to design and deliver multifaceted education programs and measure their impact.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in any field with at least three years of related education/training experience.
• Seven years of full-time experience in professional training, teaching, course development, or counseling in an educational setting.
• A combination of 3 years of experience plus 4 years of education/experience with 30 semester hours per year.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch with six years in the described role.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch including eighteen months as a Training Specialist 1.
