Job summary

The Stolte Family Foundation in Seattle, WA seeks an Education Program Officer to lead our education strategy, manage a multi-year grant portfolio, and advance family engagement, home visiting, and equitable learning opportunities for students. The ideal candidate will build relationships with communities of color, collaborate with education partners, and drive learning agendas.

This role requires field work 30-40% with occasional evenings and weekends, and operates within a small, collaborative

Experience partnering with communities of color and POC-led organizations.
Strong collaboration and learning orientation.
Ability to translate research into practice.
Experience with equitable evaluation.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary officer of the SFF education portfolio and manage a three-year, $6.8 million grant portfolio.
Partner with communities and POC-led organizations to strengthen education partnerships.
Develop a robust learning agenda and identify new funding opportunities.
Oversee all grantmaking steps from inquiries to due diligence and site visits.
Prepare briefs and impact reports for the team.
Represent SFF at local and regional education events.
Support education topics at team meetings and retreats.
