The Medical College of Wisconsin seeks a Course Coordinator to handle administrative duties for Integrated Science blocks. Responsibilities include organizing course materials, overseeing course schedules, and collaborating with faculty to meet course objectives.
Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and skills in project management and communication. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and is committed to non-discrimination.
In collaboration with course directors and faculty, coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the Integrated Science blocks. Duties include scheduling course events, monitoring course enrollments, inputting grades, maintenance of course materials within the learning management system, scheduling exams and proctoring, assisting in recruiting course facilitators and other duties as assigned. Provide support to the Curriculum team to facilitate the achievement of the Integrated Science and School of Medicine's program goals.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Preferred Experience: Program Coordination, Teaching or Educational Management, Instructional Design
Field: Program Coordination or Management, Education, Higher Education, Medical Education
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
