Jobtailor is seeking a highly organized Program Coordinator to lead the Ambulatory Integrated Block for the Medical Doctorate Program, develop educational materials, and coordinate scheduling and assessments. The role requires strong project management, communications, and educational technology skills within a medical education setting.

The successful candidate will manage online courses (Brightspace, OASIS, MCWConnect), recruit faculty, and collaborate with OSCE activities and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
  • Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness.
  • Customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
  • Preferred: Master's in Education, Business/Management or related field.
  • Preferred experience in program teaching or educational management, instructional design, and supervision of others.
  • Field: Program Coordination or Management, Education, Higher Education, Medical Education.
  • Ability to occasionally lift moderate weight materials, stand, or walk continuously.
  • Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the Ambulatory Integrated Block implementation for the Medical Doctorate Program.
  • Develop educational materials, course schedules, forms, and reports.
  • Build scheduling templates placing students with faculty preceptors.
  • Populate schedules for 75 students three times per year.
  • Track course timelines, deadlines, assignments, exams, materials, and grades.
  • Create and maintain systems for students’ selective specialty choices.
  • Maintain assessment data and the course gradebook.
  • Build and maintain online courses in Brightspace and curriculum databases including OASIS and MCWConnect.
  • Organize virtual and in-person sessions, assessments, and special events.
  • Manage outreach with community organizations and affiliate partners.
  • Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
  • Recruit and train faculty and staff for clinical experiences and course sessions.
  • Provide in-person support during Patient Based Discussion sessions.
  • Collaborate with the STAR center and OSCE Coordinator to run OSCE events and coordinate Standardized Patients.
  • Respond to student Absence Requests.
  • Participate in relevant committees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Troubleshoot problems and advocate for medical students.
