Job summary

University of Florida in Orange, FL seeks a motivated Part-Time Program Assistant to support reclaiming water outreach and grant activities. The role focuses on coordinating educator resources, building partner networks, and assisting with final workshop delivery and reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing grant deliverables, maintaining documentation, and producing final project materials with guidance from the PI. This is a fixed-term, 15-hour-per-week position with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Able to meet deadlines and work independently by organizing and coordinating work assignments in a cohesive plan.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Scheduled hours (15) will be between M-F at an agreed upon time.
• Application must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.
• This is a time-limited position.

Responsibilities

• Identify municipal, utility, and Extension professionals interested in implementing the Reclaiming Water curriculum.
• Develop and maintain contact lists to support future program delivery and educator training.
• Assist with final workshops and mail flipbooks as needed.
• Create the final FDEP grant report for submission in Summer 2027.
• Assist with grant deliverables, project documentation, educator resources, and final reporting requirements.
• Develop How-To Guidance Document for replicating the project in other areas of Florida.
• Prepare a packet of completed educational materials for reuse and an example effectiveness survey.
• Coordinate review and approval with PI and FDEP prior to public distribution.
• Prepare the Final Project Report including background, timeline, budget, and outcomes.
