GBH Education is seeking a Program & Outreach Coordinator to support education and community engagement initiatives in Western Massachusetts and across the Commonwealth. The role involves logistics, communications, internship coordination, event planning, and outreach to learners, educators, and partners.

The ideal candidate has an interest in media literacy, youth development, and collaboration with schools.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Communications, Public Media, Community Engagement, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience or internships preferred.
• Experience working with children, youth, or community programs is a plus.
• Experience with production and media technology, editing, and other technical skills is valuable.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics for Media Lab programs, workshops, and student experiences.
• Plan and implement high school media literacy cohorts and college internship programs.
• Assist with participant recruitment, registration, scheduling, and communications.
• Maintain program records and collect participant data and feedback.
• Train interns and youth in NEPM best practices, media production, and technical skills.
• Coordinate interns, onboarding, scheduling, and communications.
• Organize internship and mentoring activities tied to Media Lab programs.
• Manage materials and logistics for student projects and presentations.
• Coordinate interactive station tours for middle school and high school students.
• Support workshops, school visits, and career exploration events.
• Represent GBH and NEPM Education at career fairs and events.
• Support outreach with schools and community partners across Massachusetts.
