Job summary

GBH Educational Foundation in Springfield, MA is seeking an Education Program & Outreach Coordinator to support media literacy and youth engagement initiatives across Western Massachusetts. You will handle logistics for Media Lab programs, internships, recruitment, and communications, in a hybrid setting with on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This role involves outreach to schools, colleges, and community partners and requires collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Education, Communications, Public Media, Community Engagement, or a related field.
1-3 years of professional experience or relevant internships preferred.
Experience working with children, youth, or community-based programs is a plus.
Experience with production and media technology, editing, and other technical skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day logistics for Media Lab programs, workshops, and student experiences.
Assist with internship onboarding, scheduling, and communications.
Support planning internship and mentoring activities connected to Media Lab programs.
Coordinate materials and logistics for student projects and presentations.
Represent GBH and NEPM Education at college and community career fairs as needed.
