Job summary

The State of Ohio is recruiting an Administrative Professional 2 to support the Rehabilitation & Correction program at the Operation Support Center. The role involves relaying education policies, assisting with audits, and managing DOTS/OnBase tasks while coordinating with OSC and BOSC staff.

Ideal candidates have associate-level coursework and 18 months of relevant experience, plus familiarity with special education records and reporting requirements. This is a full-time government position.

Qualifications

  • Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications.
  • 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • 6 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 1, 16871.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

  • Relieve supervisory staff of routine administrative duties by applying agency policies and procedures.
  • Research and analyze information and provide technical advice concerning DOTS and OnBase.
  • Prepare documents for scanning and electronic storage; maintain education records.
  • Travel to other institutions or attend meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Gathers data for monthly school district reports, including special education data.
