ECU Health Duplin Hospital is seeking an Education Nurse Specialist to provide clinical education services that support safe, effective patient outcomes. The ENS collaborates with educators to assess needs, plan and deliver programs, and evaluate impact across staff, students, volunteers and community members.

With a nursing background, the ENS leads education initiatives, documents content and evaluations, and participates in quality and patient-safety activities.

Qualificações

• Licensed as a registered nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing with a concentration in education, informatics, or health information and systems management is preferred.
• Minimum of five years clinical practice with evidence of advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, teaching, and advanced clinical reasoning ability.
• Proficient with computers, information technology, and patient care technology.
• Certification as American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Instructor is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, expedient, and cost-effective Clinical Education services.
• Assess educational needs, plan programs to meet those needs, implement those programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Lead committees and participate in staff orientation and development, quality and patient safety initiatives, and EHR support.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all educational offerings, including content, objectives, evaluations, and attendance.
