Job summary

Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks an Education and Merchandising Coordinator to support education programs and the gift shop, coordinate field trips, and assist with merchandise orders and customer communications.

You will collaborate with a manager to define education strategies, prepare educational materials, and engage with teachers and students during visits. Weekend availability and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in education/childcare or customer service.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Shopify or similar retail software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online orders for Woody Guthrie Center and Bob Dylan Center packing from inventory and coordinating pick up from UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.
• Manage online shop email and respond to all customer correspondence promptly.
• Count and receive new products, deliveries and transfers into inventory.
• Access the off-site storage and transfer low stock items.
• Create quarterly low stock reports for future purchasing.
• Facilitate bi-annual inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Coordinate field trip scheduling with teachers and cross-functional teammates.
• Prepare educational packets for teachers and students and welcome school groups.
• Lead tours and activities; supervise students during visits.
• Provide support to teachers and chaperones and address questions during visits.
• Collect feedback from teachers and communicate upcoming programs to educators and communities.
• Identify opportunities and partners to expand community outreach.
