Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience in state or federal court.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with substantial client contact and courtroom time.
• Draft dispositive motions, writs, and appellate briefs, often on issues of first impression.
• Take and defend depositions and lead discovery in state and federal court and in administrative proceedings.
• Try cases and argue motions as first- or second-chair, with support from experienced partners.
• Advise charter school and private school clients directly on litigation strategy and risk.
