• Three years of full-time attorney experience with arbitration, defense, research and writing.
• Admission to NYS Bar in good standing and to federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Counsels departments and school personnel on laws and policy developments.
• Represents the District in courts and before state and federal agencies.
• Prepares legal documents, briefs, and policy drafts for school district matters.
• Supervises other attorneys on projects as assigned by Legal Counsel.
• Trains administrators and staff on legal implications for education and discipline.
