Job summary

The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking Educational Officers and qualified professionals to lead enterprise systems initiatives across the department.

You will develop strategic plans, supervise staff, and liaise with school administrators and stakeholders to ensure aligned IT services and compliance with policies.

Candidates must have extensive experience in information systems, data management, and project leadership within an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information and computer sciences or MIS-focused business administration.
• Nine years professional experience in electronic processing systems analysis or computer programming, including education sector.
• Seven years enterprise data warehouse development/management, with supervisory experience and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development of strategic and operational plans for enterprise systems.
• Liaises with department leadership, school administrators, and stakeholders on enterprise systems matters.
• Oversees daily operations and budgeting for the branch; ensures compliant, effective IT services.
• Provides expert guidance for acquisition, deployment, and management of enterprise systems and solutions.
