The University of Northern Iowa's College of Education seeks an innovative, entrepreneurial, and collaborative leader to serve as Associate Dean for Innovation and Outreach. This 12-month, full-time Academic Administrator appointment reports to the Dean and leads EdVantageUNI, the college’s hub for professional learning, outreach, and educational services.

Qualificações

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited institution in education or related field.
• Tenured associate professor or professor in any discipline within COE.
• Significant leadership experience in higher education, PK–12 education, workforce development, or related setting.
• Experience managing budgets, personnel, projects, and organizational change.
• Experience securing or managing grants, contracts, or externally funded initiatives.
• Strong communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leads strategic innovation and emerging initiatives across the College of Education.
• Oversees EdVantageUNI and the College's portfolio of professional learning and continuing education.
• Develops, implements, and scales externally facing educational programs and services.
• Pursues externally funded initiatives including grants, contracts, and workforce programs.
• Establishes and grows mission-aligned programs to expand enrollment and financial sustainability.
• Builds strategic external partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations.
• Builds strategic external partnerships with schools, employers, and communities.
• Supports charter school authorizing responsibilities and related policy infrastructure.
• Provides strategic leadership for special projects and initiatives assigned by the Dean.
