Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an Information Systems Specialist at the Education Service Center to strengthen, integrate, and optimize district information systems, data, and processes. You will work across schools and departments to align systems with district needs and improve efficiency and data governance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supporting information systems, applications, data, or related technology.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and support multiple information systems and processes.
• Willingness to cross-train and provide backup coverage.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot assigned district information systems and applications.
• Support processes involving student information, enrollment, scheduling, grading, records, HR, finance, payroll, reporting.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, access, and security within systems.
• Create and maintain reports, queries, data extracts, and information resources.
• Support system integrations and data exchanges between district applications.
• Assist with data collection and reporting requirements.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and configuration changes.
• Provide system training and guidance to district staff.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and Technology team to troubleshoot issues.
• Manage help desk tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Cross-train on critical systems to provide backup coverage.
