Southern Careers Institute is seeking an Education Finance Specialist / Financial Aid Officer to help students and families navigate federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs. You will advise on eligibility, assist with applications, and manage packaging policies and budgeting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong Excel/Outlook skills. You’ll work in a collaborative campus environment across Texas and online offerings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2) One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel and advise students about financial aid eligibility, procedures, programs, costs, and budgeting.
• Determine aid amounts based on funds, demand, and student needs.
• Review FAFSA and complete needs analysis/budget worksheets.
• Ensure 100% student satisfaction with timely service during appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with FERPA.
