Zusammenfassung

SAE Institute Group seeks a Financial Aid Advisor to work on-site with students and families, guiding funding options and ensuring accurate aid packaging. You will determine eligibility for Title IV and coordinate federal, state, and institutional aid within regulations.

You will handle data systems, maintain compliance, and provide educational financial planning guidance, while supporting campus financial services staff and students throughout the aid process.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and two years in higher education (Financial Aid preferred).
• Excellent computer skills; working knowledge of automated higher education management systems; MS Office proficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of financial aid and/or prior financial aid experience.
• Experience with financial aid reporting systems (NSLDS, Campus Vue).
• Ability to assess a student’s financial aid need and apply federal/state guidelines.
• Ability to interpret federal and state regulations and communicate clearly.

Aufgaben

• Build rapport with enrolled and prospective students and families about financial aid options.
• Determine Title IV eligibility and award federal, state, institutional and private aid within guidelines.
• Utilize electronic data exchange software to communicate with the Department of Education.
• Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy in system data entry.
• Submit reports to federal and state agencies and maintain files and databases.
• Advise students on financial planning and educational funding options.
