Job summary

Eataly West Palm is seeking an Education and Events Lead to design and run public and private events, including cooking and wine classes, tastings, and private receptions, on-site in West Palm Beach. You will report to the Marketing Manager and coordinate with departments to deliver memorable experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in restaurant operations or events, strong organizational and editorial skills, and knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning
• Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
• Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy
• Proficiency in Italian language preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute public and private events including specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions
• Supervise staff members during events to ensure smooth execution
• Write and monitor class descriptions; compile instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and sales contracts; create class registration pages online
• Foster accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
• Build and manage client lists and relationships
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
