Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. in Fresno, CA seeks an Education and Employment Mental Health Specialist/Case Manager V to join the ACT/FACT treatment team.

You will help clients reach educational goals through vocational training and higher education, while supporting job development and planning. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least one year in mental health, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college.
• At least one year of experience in mental health or human services.
• Emergency first aid certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and Dual-Diagnosis treatment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Intermediate computer skills with Office 365, Teams, Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in case management plan development and implementation.
• Plan and coordinate services for SMI clients.
• Collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team for integrated care.
• Provide direct case management and rehabilitation services.
• Conduct employment education and planning with clients.
• Develop education/work plans and arrange community opportunities.
• Assess work readiness and support job retention.
• Respond to crises and participate in supervision.
