Job summary

The Education Director at the YWCA of the City of New York leads the Youth Department’s educational and enrichment efforts across multiple sites in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. You will supervise curriculum design, staff performance, and social-emotional supports to ensure high-quality programs for youth and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Education, Special Education, Youth Development, Curriculum, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of instructional leadership, curriculum development, or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Youth Department’s educational and enrichment initiatives.
• Oversee curriculum alignment, staff development, and compliance with DYCD COMPASS/SONYC.
• Manage internship partnerships and support grant and partnership development.
• Monitor program quality and data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead family engagement and establish strong school and community partnerships.
