Job summary

News Literacy Project seeks a Senior Manager of Education Design to oversee NLP's resource library, guiding staff and contributors who develop or adapt learning resources. You will shape a multiyear roadmap, identify gaps, and supervise cross-team efforts across marketing and technology to meet educator needs and strategic plans.

The role emphasizes innovation in lessons, videos, quizzes and infographics, with collaboration to ensure resources meet educator feedback and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in K-12 education—elementary level is a plus.
• Background in journalism, news literacy or information literacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a multiyear resource development roadmap aligned with educator feedback.
• Drive cross‑team project management and resource development efforts.
• Lead development of new resources: lessons, videos, interactives, quizzes, infographics.
• Collaborate with educator support staff to align priorities with feedback and strategic needs.
• Align resources to educational standards.
