Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Sneads Ferry, NC to support lead instruction and daily care. You will foster a warm, welcoming classroom that adheres to licensing ratios and safety standards, enabling children to explore and grow.

You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement age-appropriate activities, engage with children and families, and contribute to documentation and ongoing development opportunities within CDS.

Qualifications

Assistant Teacher - Sneads Ferry, North Carolina

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
