CAMBA is seeking a Content Specialist for the After-School Program in Brooklyn. You will develop instructional materials and lesson plans, support staff through workshops, and provide direct feedback and coaching to improve classroom practices.

The role requires a Masters in education or related field, and compensation is $55.00 per hour for a seasonal position with comprehensive benefits including health and dental coverage, a 403(b) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in education or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop instructional materials and lesson plans to facilitate staff development workshops.
• Provide group and/or individual assistance to staff, including updating library of resources.
• Manage classrooms and small groups to maximize student learning.
• Provide observations and professional feedback to staff leading activities with children.
• Work one-on-one with staff needing additional support and guidance.
• Model and teach effective classroom management strategies.
