Responsibilities

• Research and develop instructional materials and lesson plans for staff development workshops.
• Provide group and individual assistance to staff to build skills for working with students.
• Update and create library of resource materials for program staff including lesson plans and reference guides.
• Manage classrooms and small groups to maximize student learning.
• Conduct formal and informal observations of staff and offer feedback and support.
• Work one-on-one with staff needing additional professional guidance and modeling effective classroom management strategies.
• Facilitate staff development workshops and act as liaison between school and program regarding homework assistance and discipline procedures.
• Communicate with EYD leadership on student/staff progress and observe afterschool staff with participants.
• Assist in analyzing program and demographic data to drive improvements.
