Job summary

Greenspace Construction Services in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead education and institutional construction projects in Northeast Ohio. The role involves overall planning, coordination, financial management, documentation, and execution from preconstruction through closeout.

You will work closely with on-site superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, owners, design professionals, and leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule,

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and direction for assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Lead, support, and coordinate the project team, including onsite superintendents and project engineers
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and other project documents to understand and communicate project requirements
• Develop, maintain, and update the project schedule in coordination with the Schedule Consultant, Superintendent, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement corrective action when necessary
• Manage owner, architect, consultant, subcontractor, and supplier communications
• Conduct and participate in owner, subcontractor, progress, and internal project meetings
• Oversee the preparation of and maintenance of accurate meeting minutes, action-item lists, project reports, and correspondence
• Oversee the management of submittals, RFIs, requests for pricing, change orders, field directives, and other project documentation
• Review subcontractor scopes of work and assist with subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract administration
• Process and review subcontractor pay applications and support preparation of owner payment applications
• Monitor project costs, commitments, contingency expenditures, change items, and overall budget performance
• Provide timely updates to company leadership regarding project status, risks, financial performance, and decisions needed
