Job summary

Ampact Education seeks a Coaching Specialist to advance student literacy and numeracy outcomes through expert coaching, data-informed guidance, and on-site support for schools implementing Reading Corps and Math Corps models.

You will partner with school staff, observe interventions, analyze data, and help allocate tutoring resources to maximize impact while upholding program fidelity and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and licensure in education, educational psychology, special education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in primary or secondary education, knowledge of school structures.
• Experience in Pre-k and/or Kindergarten.
• Strong relationship-building, consultation, and conflict resolution skills; able to model, observe, and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience using literacy/numeracy assessments and MTSS data-driven guidance.
• Ability to facilitate adult learners through training, coaching, supervision, and observation.
• High EI, collaboration with diverse groups.
• Deep commitment to educational equity and supporting all program members.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to tutors and ensure Ampact models are delivered with fidelity and progress is tracked.
• Collaborate with school staff to identify and schedule targeted interventions.
• Review program data for completeness and accuracy; monitor progress.
• Lead data-based decision-making teams at sites to plan interventions.
• Support school staff to understand program purpose and utilize tutoring resources effectively.
