Job summary

Ampact Education in Wisconsin seeks a Coaching Specialist to advance student literacy and numeracy by providing expert coaching, on-site support, and data-driven guidance to ensure fidelity to Reading Corps and Math Corps models. You will collaborate with schools, observe interventions, and review data to maximize tutoring impact and student outcomes.

Travel locally and statewide as needed, supporting site staff, and communicating program value through research-based evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensure in education, educational psychology, special education or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in primary or secondary education with knowledge of school structures and staff roles.
• Experience using literacy/numeracy assessments and data-based decision-making models to guide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical coaching to tutors to ensure Ampact program models are delivered with fidelity and students make progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to identify students for targeted interventions and build schedules.
• Review program data to ensure accuracy and monitor student progress.
• Lead data-driven decision-making meetings to plan interventions.
• Maximize program impact by helping staff understand programs and data.
