Job summary

Alpha reimagines schooling by delivering core academics through adaptive AI-powered learning apps while educators focus on coaching, motivation, and life skills. As an Education Coach, you will build a cohort of K-8 students, lead one-hour workshops, and guide them toward ambitious weekly goals.

You’ll spend time coaching in small groups, analyzing Coachbot data, and tailoring your approach to each student’s needs. This full-time role offers day-one benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Willing to work in person at multiple Alpha campuses (relocation support provided).
• Ability to motivate students and adapt coaching to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Leading high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students, developing communication, resilience, focus, leadership, and other durable skills.
• Coaching students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics to help every student achieve ambitious weekly goals.
• Assessing life skill mastery through Test2Pass and providing targeted coaching until every student demonstrates genuine competence.
• Adapting coaching style across different ages, knowing when encouragement or accountability is needed.
• Analyzing weekly performance data to identify patterns and continually improve outcomes for the cohort.
