Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills. As a Student Learning Coach, you will lead energetic life-skills workshops for K-8, coach students using Coachbot analytics, and guide them toward ambitious weekly goals while leveraging AI delivery for academics.

You will work on-site at multiple Alpha campuses in the U.S., with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus across multiple U.S. locations (relocation support provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students, focusing on communication, resilience, focus, leadership.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and Alpha motivation systems.
• Assess life skill mastery through Test2Pass and provide targeted coaching until mastery is achieved.
• Adapt coaching style across elementary and middle school students depending on age and needs.
• Analyze weekly student performance data to drive improvements for the cohort.
