Job summary

Sunrise Preschools is seeking an Education Coordinator to coach educators across multiple centers, observe classrooms, and strengthen teaching practices. You will plan and implement HighReach Learning curriculum, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing professional development to enhance outcomes for children and families.

The role emphasizes collaboration, feedback delivery at various levels, and leadership communication, with a focus on building quality early childhood education

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education
• Strong knowledge of classroom practices across age groups
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach adult learners
• Familiarity with classroom assessment tools including ITERS/ECERS/SACERS
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Positive, creative, collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and improve HighReach Learning curriculum across all ages
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations and provide actionable feedback
• Evaluate classroom environments using ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, SACERS
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers
• Support staff-child interactions and an inclusive environment
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship
• Support teacher and family retention with tool-based support
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or recordings to stay aligned with goals
• Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
