Job summary

The Salvation Army Oakland Chinatown Corps is seeking a Program Assistant to help run programs at the Education Center, including Chinese language and music learning for a diverse community. The role supports the Corps officer and Education Center supervisor to create safe, loving, and learning environments.

Minimum age 15 with work permit; part-time, six hours per week, and compensation at an hourly rate in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Relate to children to support personal growth.
• Plan and carry out lesson plans (Chinese language, music).
• Work cooperatively with Corps Officer/Education Center supervisor.
