Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Incident Reporting in New York, NY. You will serve and safeguard clients across campus settings, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The role requires strong communication, integrity, and a people-first mindset. Schedule includes daytime shifts with rotating hours; pay range is $20.20 to $21.40 per hour, and eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership.
