You will guide AI product delivery with a focus on reliability, security, and scalable cloud-native solutions across AWS and GCP, ensuring FERPA compliance and responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering leadership.
• 5+ years of delivering production-grade AI features at scale.
• Proficiency with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI, Bedrock).
• Strong cloud architecture, API design, and microservices.
• Commitment to UX and user adoption in educational contexts.
• Passion for K-12 education and Success Academy’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Define the network-wide AI roadmap with leadership and educators.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI software engineering team.
• Oversee architecture and delivery of AI applications and intelligent agents.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering for secure, scalable AWS/GCP deployments.
• Translate AI capabilities into practical, high-impact school tools.
• Establish governance and safety guardrails for responsible AI usage.
