Job summary

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Site Manager for our Educare Early Learning site to lead fast-paced operational duties at the Head Start and Early Head Start facility. This position is responsible for managing the delivery of comprehensive and multi-disciplinary services, providing operational and educational support, and acting as the licensed center director for the center.

Educare is a research based early learning program implementing best and most promising new practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or an Associate degree with 45 ECE credits and relevant experience.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary full-day early childhood/family support program.
• Experience in Head Start and/or ECEAP programs.
• Experience coaching staff and managing subsidies and collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as center director in licensed Educare facilities to ensure program quality.
• Lead operations including budgets, plans, and reports for the site.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and partners to integrate services.
• Monitor health, safety, and compliance with Head Start/ECEAP requirements.
