Job Description

Supervise an assigned group of children (ages six weeks to ten years) daily to ensure their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs are met. Provide high-quality early childhood education, fostering growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old with a H.S. diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in early childhood education or related field, CDA credential, 60 semester hours in Early Childhood Education, or experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
• Must obtain Infant & Child First Aid & CPR, Child Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse recognition training within 3 months of employment.
• No convictions of child abuse or crimes involving moral turpitude.
• Must pass FBI and BCI fingerprint checks.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
