Job summary

Newsela is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Management team and help build and improve the Newsela experience for teachers and students. You will collaborate with marketing, design, success, and pedagogy experts to ensure features meet classroom needs and have measurable impact.

You will own the platform experience from discovery to launch, partnering with a fast-moving AI-forward engineering team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management delivering scale for products.
• Experience in EdTech, K-12 SaaS, or instructional products strongly preferred.
• Experience collaborating with design and subject-matter experts to shape features.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of a PM workflow.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to dig into data independently.

Responsibilities

• Build features and tools that directly impact teachers and students.
• Own the platform experience through collaboration with engineering.
• Work with design and pedagogy experts throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with AI-forward engineering team to deliver high-impact features.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear priorities and manage scope/timelines.
• Use data to measure success and identify opportunities.
