Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician for the Buffalo VA Medical Center. The role focuses on inpatient and outpatient pulmonology, critical care, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include resident/fellow supervision, on-call coverage, and participation in OPPE. Eligible for EDRP and relocation/recruitment incentives; full-time schedule with comprehensive VA benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board certification in pulmonary and critical care.
• Current license to practice medicine.
• Eligibility and experience in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and treatment to pulmonary/ICU patients.
• Care for inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care.
• Coordinate with primary care and other services.
• Perform administrative tasks (OPPE, peer reviews).
• Provide on-call services as assigned.
• Work schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 PM.
