Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join the Boise VA Medical Center. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient care, teaching, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Board-certified or eligible candidates with a strong clinical background are preferred.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and related incentives may be available; relocation and sign-on considerations apply for highly qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Full, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency training approved by ACGME/AOA; board eligibility.
• Board certification in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care preferred.
• US citizenship; non-citizens may be appointed only when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician at the Boise VA Medical Center.
• Conduct inpatient and outpatient evaluations and treatments.
• Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and nurse practitioners as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in academic activities.
