Job summary

Table Mountain Casino Inc. is seeking a team-oriented Employee Dining Room associate responsible for maintaining the Employee Dining Room (EDR) in a clean, orderly, and organized manner.

You will serve food, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness per policies and ServSafe standards. This role requires good communication, ability to prioritize tasks, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required unless waived by Human Resources Management.
  • Six (6) months work experience in Food & Beverage preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and prioritize assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment as directed.
  • Prepare food as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Employee Dining Room (EDR) according to ServSafe standards.
  • Clean tables as necessary.
  • Clean all equipment, tabletops, refrigerator, and other food service equipment daily.
  • Serve food to Team Members going through EDR line.
  • Stock condiments, napkins, utensils, China and glassware.
  • Maintain and stock salad bar, Dessert, Ice Cream stations.
  • Clean storage, floors and shelving as needed.
  • Clean out refrigerators as needed to prevent spoilage.
  • Maintain cleanliness of EDR at all times according to ServSafe standards.
  • Restocking supplies as directed.
  • Communicate with Sous Chef and Executive Chef about tasks and assignments.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Position Summary

Under general direction from the Sous Chef, responsible for maintaining the Employee Dining Room (EDR) in a clean, orderly, and organized manner, including serving food, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness according to policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, walk and sit; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50-70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to cigarette smoke. The work environment is noisy and employee will work indoors and outdoors; work performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit, and maneuver outside in temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
