Job summary

Lone Star Turbo is launching an Engineer Development Program in Houston, TX for recent and upcoming graduates. This on-site program offers multiple engineering paths—Field, Production, Application, and Project Management—designed to match interests and company needs.

Selected candidates will work across hands-on electrical/mechanical systems, startup support, testing, PLC integration, and customer-facing activities, with extensive travel and a focus on quality, safety, and accountability.

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or Industrial Distribution.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and make decisions quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with customers professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on work with electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Start-ups, troubleshooting, root cause analysis.
  • Vibration & power analysis.
  • PLC and controls integration.
  • Extensive travel.

  • Manufacturing support and continuous improvement.
  • Testing and validation of products.
  • Equipment sizing, system design & integration.
  • Technical support for sales teams.

Field Engineering

  • Hands-on work with electrical/mechanical systems

Production Engineering

  • Project engineering and industrial engineering
