Job summary

Aimic Inc. is seeking an experienced EDM machining professional in Massachusetts to lead and drive precision manufacturing. The role emphasizes hands-on setup, programming, operation, and troubleshooting of EDM equipment to achieve close-tolerance results.

Preference is given to candidates with aerospace experience, strong GD&T skills, blueprint reading, and a track record of supervising or leading teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EDM machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• NADCAP Certified
• Previous supervisory, lead, or working-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM processes.
• Ability to independently set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot EDM equipment.
• Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T skills.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
• Experience machining aerospace or other close-tolerance components.
• Understanding of tooling, fixturing, electrodes, offsets, machine parameters, and process optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands‑on approach to production.
