Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an EDM Machine Operator for the 5th shift to set up, operate, and maintain EDM equipment used to manufacture precision aerospace components. You will verify part quality, troubleshoot production issues, and support continuous improvement while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with EDM/CNC setups or program editing is preferred, and candidates should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in machining, EDM setup, CNC operation, or program editing preferred.
• Nice to have aerospace/manufacturing experience and CNC programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC EDM equipment and related machining systems.
• Perform EDM machining operations per engineering specs and work instructions.
• Read operation sheets, routers, blueprints and in-process docs.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to verify quality.
• Troubleshoot minor setup, machining, and program-related issues.
• Support TPM activities and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Follow CTQ requirements and quality procedures.
• Support new program development and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform manual machining operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
