Job summary

Enjet Aero is seeking an EDM operator to run sinker and wire EDM machines on the first shift (Mon–Thu, 5:30 am–4:00 pm). You will change electrodes, read micrometers and calipers, set fixtures, and verify process settings.

Qualifications

  • HD/GED required or equivalent.
  • Sinker EDM experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
  • Good communication and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Change and set electrodes.
  • Read micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparators.
  • Use and check various fixtures.
  • Identify alarm codes and machine issues.
  • Start and stop the EDM machines.
  • Identify and correct machine operational problems.
  • Follow ISO 9001/AS 9100 and Nadcap procedures.
  • Perform daily maintenance using a checklist.
  • Verify settings for special process approvals.
  • Communicate questions and verify completeness and accuracy.
  • Understand, use, and follow work instructions.

Position Description:

An EDM operator is needed to operate the sinker/wire EDM machines. This is a 1st shift position, Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.

  • Change and set electrodes
  • Read micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparator
  • Use and check various fixtures
  • Identify alarm codes
  • Start and stop machine
  • Identify and correct machine operational problems
  • Know and understand the ISO 9001/AS 9100 and Nadcap procedures and requirements
  • Perform daily maintenance using a checklist
