Aerotek is seeking an EDM Machinist for a contract-to-hire role in Ringgold, GA. You will program and operate Wire EDM equipment and CNC mills/lathes, with setups and changeovers throughout the shift.

The position is a 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume shop. Strong troubleshooting, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production machining setting that is fast-paced. The regular shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, averaging 40 hours per week. We offer flexibility with shifts starting as early as 5:00 am or ending as late as 5:30 pm to accommodate family life. Saturday work is rare and, if needed, is typically from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. EDM operations involve long runs and require setting up and running programs via USB on three machines, while also assisting with other CNC machines. The shop is a high-mix, low-volume environment with tight tolerances and requires gauging parts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ringgold, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
