Job summary

Palladium is seeking an experienced Editorial Consultant at our United States facility to assist with copyediting in English, with a focus on digital health and USG-funded global programming. The consultant will work under the Senior Associate for KM and Communications to support Data.FI and Palladium projects.

You will edit reports, briefs, blogs, and news articles, review for coherence and accuracy, and ensure branding and APA style compliance across materials.

Qualifications

• 5 years professional experience as a copyeditor.
• Deep familiarity with APA and other relevant style guides.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage parallel assignments.
• Ability to edit documents quickly and efficiently (e.g., proof a 20-page document within 4 hours).
• High degree of responsiveness to email.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to parse and hone meaning.
• Strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility and willingness dealing with a workload that ebbs and flows.

Editorial Consultant

We are searching for an experienced Editorial Consultant with a background in digital health and USG-funded global programming to assist with copyediting in English.

The Data for Implementation (Data.FI) project, within the Information Systems portfolio of Palladium Group, is a cooperative agreement funded by the U.S. State Department through PEPFAR. It is implemented by Palladium and supported by expert global and local resource partners.

Data.FI is a global project that helps countries strengthen routine health information systems to optimize efficiencies in the health sector, track and rapidly respond to the HIV epidemic and emerging health threats, and improve client care through integrated, and flexible digital health solutions, data analytics, and institutionalized data use practices.

The project is seeking a short-term English language editorial consultant to assist with existing documentation workflows as well as upcoming expecting materials tied to several new buy-in’s and Core scope activities. The consultant will work under the direct supervision and management of the project’s Senior Associate for KM and Communications.

Overall, the consultant will provide technical editorial and copyediting support to Data.FI and, as needed and upon request, to other projects within the Information Systems portfolio.

Specifically, the consultant will:

• Edit and/or rewrite reports, briefs, PowerPoint presentations, success stories, blogs, and news articles on subjects related to data science and digital health.
