Qualifications

• PhD and postdoctoral experience in Quantum Information Science and Technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of peer review for manuscripts, including selecting referees and making publication decisions.
• Maintain close contact with PRL editors and other journals in the portfolio.
• Help select and briefly summarize papers to highlight.
• Stay updated on current and emerging physics research and inform editors.
• Support post-acceptance processes, including acquiring editorial summaries and images.
• Perform editorial checks for quality and timeliness of publications.
• Maintain high ethical standards at all editorial stages.
• Master the peer-review management system.
• Represent journals and APS at scientific conferences.
• Develop relationships with researchers across the field.
• Contribute to journal projects and strategy (content, social media, outreach, data analytics).
• Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
